Forming a partnership to help an honest leader.
Against all odds, a truly special shift occurred: Structure partnered alongside would-be competitor and local ad agency Lehigh Mining & Navigation, in order to build a powerhouse of an A-Team. All egos were dropped and instead close friendships were formed in order to help longtime resident & longtime Mayor of Allentown, Ray O’Connell, win another re-election.
Knowing how volatile & polluted local and national politics have become, it was vital that the message we built for Ray & the residents of Allentown was positive, uplifting and most importantly transparent and authentic. No smoke and mirrors here; we worked closely with Ray and his team to guarantee the message and image we created was true.

“Honesty & integrity were the primary attributes we so strongly focused on.”
THE LITTLE DETAILS:
The zebra-like pattern in the background of all graphics is actually a fingerprint. We knew some sort of pattern would be necessary for the design of the campaign, and needed to work on both small and large applications. It only made sense to incorporate something truly unique and personal: one’s own fingerprint.
THE LITTLE DETAILS CONT’D:
The halo-like rings around Ray’s head were designed to be imperfect on purpose. They represent uniqueness and diversity, yet all harmoniously coming together in unison to highlight and draw focus to what they believe in: O’Connell. The imperfectness and overlapping visually nods the hat to how cities are full of different people, different beliefs and different lifestyles, yet all live cohesively. In more literal terms, the circles were a great organic contrast to the jagged fingerprint pattern and helped draw people’s eyes to what we wanted them to focus on for the piece of design.
“I was humbled and honored to work with Structure and Lehigh Mining and Navigation. We truly became a family.” O’Connell said after the campaign concluded. “You are all true professionals.”
“Structure was a tremendous partner and made killer creative.” Denis Aumiller, Creative Manager of LM&N said of their partnership with Structure. “There were no egos.”
